This is the first time I actually finished a digital drawing.
Most of the shading is soft shadow since I haven't learned a right way to make hard shadows yet.

Currently working on something that isn't manga (Tomb Raider WIP) and I was already considering using the light of the water as a second light source.
It's just that there's nobody near me (or even in my country when I google for it) who can teach me to work with a pen tablet. So I'm just fumbling around, finding it look shitty but don't know what I do wrong or how to do it better
I'm studying game design and want to make concept art with a pen tablet
How I learned to use my tablet: Sticked out my mouse for 2 weeks and used my tablet instead xD After those two weeks I was just as good with a tablet as with my mouse
But it's more that I have great brushes but don't know how to handle them to get nice looks

Tja ik ben gewoon te perfectinonitinistisch
Moet iemand vinden die me gewoon echt les kan geven hierin.. maar die is er niet
Ik durf te wedden dat ik het kan als iemand me het gewoon zou kunnen leren
Kan je niet onder iets van tekenles ofzo? Het klinkt stom, maar ik zit er ook op. Het is een jongerengroep dus da's best vet! En bij ons krijg je niet echt les in de zin van: je moet dit en dat doen.. Je mag zelf weten wat je doet, en alleen als het een beetje fout gaat stuurt de docent je een beetje bij, of gewoon als je zelf vragen hebt. Dat is echt heel fijn! Bij ons is er ook zo'n photoshopgroep.. En ik zit in Veghel, niet bepaald een wereldstad, dus waarschijnlijk hebben ze ook wel zo'n cultuurdinges bij jou?
En wow.. Ja, dat zou ik ook wel willen!
Het is heel anders om met een penseel te schilderen dan dat je in photoshop een bepaalde brush voor een bepaalde texture leert te gebruiken
